Russian military losses in Ukraine continue to rise sharply. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on 25 March, the Russian army lost 1,280 soldiers and five tanks. This brings the total number of Russian troops eliminated since the beginning of the full-scale invasion to over 907,000.

Ukrainian forces also destroyed 15 armoured combat vehicles, 17 artillery systems, and 59 drones in the same period. The relentless fighting has placed additional strain on Russian logistics, with 77 more vehicles and fuel tankers lost. The figures confirm the heavy toll that Moscow’s aggression continues to take on its own military forces.

These staggering casualties expose the Kremlin’s failure to achieve its objectives and highlight the growing cost of its continued aggression.
