Since the early hours of Wednesday, Ukrainian defenders have been engaged in 92 combat clashes across the front line, with the heaviest fighting reported in the Pokrovsk direction. According to the General Staff of Ukraine, Russian forces attempted 29 separate attacks in this area alone, aiming to breach defensive positions held by Ukrainian units.
Throughout the day, Russia launched one missile and conducted 77 air strikes, using two additional missiles and releasing 128 guided bombs on Ukrainian settlements and troop positions. Ukrainian command reported over 1,000 kamikaze drone attacks and more than 4,700 artillery shellings across multiple sectors.
In the Kharkiv region, the enemy carried out two assaults near Vovchansk and Zapadny. Ukrainian forces successfully held their lines.
In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops attempted five offensive manoeuvres near Petropavlivka, Nova Kruglyakivka, Bohuslavka, and Zahryzove, all of which were repelled.
In the Lyman area, 15 Russian attacks were recorded near several settlements, including Nadiya, Novosergiyivka, and Hrekivka, with three battles still underway at the time of reporting.
Nine enemy attempts to break through in the Siversk area were also stopped. Assaults took place around Hryhorivka, Ivano Daryivka, Vyimka, and Verkhnyokamyanske.
In the Kramatorsk region, Russian forces advanced five times near Chasiv Yar, Kurdyumivka, and Stupochky. All were resisted by Ukrainian troops.
In Toretsk and Leonidivka, eight more Russian attacks were also reported.
The most intense action occurred in Pokrovsk. Russian forces launched 29 attacks across a wide area, including Oleksandropil, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Uspenivka, and others. Aerial bombardment also targeted civilian areas such as Pokrovsk, Dovha Balka, Zorya, and Malinivka.
The Ukrainian response was swift and effective. According to preliminary data, 138 Russian soldiers were neutralised in the Pokrovsk direction alone, with 67 confirmed dead. Ukrainian forces destroyed seven enemy vehicles, four motorcycles, six drones, and two cannons. In addition, one Russian tank, two infantry fighting vehicles, and other equipment were damaged.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy attempted 15 more assaults in areas including Kostyantynopol and Rozliv. Two battles were still active by the evening. Russian aircraft struck Zelene Pole and Novodarivka.
Air strikes were also recorded in Huliaipole, targeting the towns of Zaliznychne and Huliaipole.
In the Orikhiv area, six enemy assaults took place around Mala Tokmachka, Stepove, Kamyanske and other settlements. Aerial attacks were launched on Lukyanivske and Stepnohirsk, with four battles still ongoing.
In the southern Pridniprovsk direction, Russian troops carried out three offensive attempts and bombed Kherson with guided air weapons.
Meanwhile, near the border in the Kursk region, Ukrainian forces repelled 10 Russian assaults. Moscow’s troops also carried out 19 air strikes and dropped 32 guided bombs. Shellings from conventional and rocket artillery reached 308 recorded attacks throughout the day.
